Public transit: Busses that reach the park include the 2, 6, 15, 28, 59, 171, and 172. The Metra electric train stops at 59th Street.

Parking: Street parking is available on the streets lining the Midway, as well as in the visitor parking lot at 60th St. and Stony Island Ave.

The Midway Plaisance is located between Chicago's Hyde Park and Woodlawn neighborhoods. It is bounded by E 59th St on the North, E 60th St on the South, Stony Island on the East, and Washington Park on the West.
